About Us

We are Indigi Kam, a proudly Indigenous-owned and operated photo booth company based in Edmonton, Alberta — Treaty 6 Territory. As an Alberta-registered business, we are dedicated to bringing joy, culture, and unforgettable memories to every event through the power of Indigenous humour.

Indigi Kam was created from the heart — born from the need to celebrate Indigenous humour in a way that only our communities truly understand. We recognized that not all other cultures connect with our humour, and we wanted to create a space where Indigenous laughter, spirit, and stories could shine unapologetically.

At Indigi Kam, we believe that every smile captured is a moment of pride, connection, and celebration. Whether it's a conference, wedding, or community gathering, our photo booths bring people together to honour our traditions, our joy, and our vibrant identity.

We can't wait to celebrate with you — and capture moments that matter.

Mission

Our mission is to create meaningful photo booth experiences that bring Indigenous stories, humor, and community to life by capturing joyful, lasting memories at every event honoring Indigenous stories and welcoming all who value connection.

Tara Brown, Founder & Owner

Tansi (Hello), my name is Tara Brown, and I am from Little Pine First Nation in Saskatchewan, located on Treaty 6 Territory. Although my roots are there, I was raised in Maskwacis, Alberta. After completing high school, I left the rez and have made Edmonton, AB my home. I’m also a proud MacEwan University alumni, holding a diploma in Human Resources Management.

I’m blessed to be the mother of two amazing children, Tyrus and Treysen. By day, I work with the non-profit Indigenous organization Cando, and in my spare time, I follow my passion for entrepreneurship.

Thank you for your support — it truly means the world. Hiy-Hiy (Thank you!).
